Flowers

I as a ROSE

I am not a daffodil or a lily 

I am a flower, however

I have thorns 

I wilt 

I need to be grounded in the soil 

The sunlight is my lifeline 

It wasn’t until today that I realized why I loved flowers so much..

We both need the same things.

Ironically, 

the flowers reminded  me to water myself..
