6 MONTH REHAB.....
I have been extremely particular about what I spend my time doing and who I share my energy with! I have spent so much time self reflecting this year. Realizing how much I overexert/overextend myself in the lives of those whom I love is sickening!
I'll never regret the love that I gave someone; even if he or she was undeserving of it! I will however withdraw from any connection that requires more than it reciprocates! I've come to the realization that everything that has happened to me, rather it be bad or good, has made me the wonderful woman that I am today. "I wouldn't take nothing for my journey."
I just want more out of life, I want to be better, happier, calmer, healthier, etc. There is no thing as "good enough," when it comes to self improvement!
I will forever be a "work in progress," and that is okay! I am constantly evolving! I am not who I was a year ago, a week ago or even a day ago. Therefore, I not allow people to tell me who I am. I KNOW WHO I AM! I know what I want and I know how I deserve to be treated in all aspects of my life, both personal and professional.
I refuse to settle and I won't take "NO" for an answer! Life is not only short, it's precious!
A young lady that I follow on YouTube said something this morning that resonated all too well. She said, "I dare you to work on yourself for the next six months." Silence the noise. Shut out the distractions, and enjoy the journey."
I knew it was no coincidence that I saw that message. I recently made a conscious decision to delete my Facebook page for the rest of the year. I've also been really in tune with myself. Being more present and less anxious had also been a challenge. Overall, I definitely can work a lot harder WORKING ON MYSELF! There is always room for improvement.
I accept the challenge! I also challenge you to work on yourself the rest of this year. Think of all the amazing things that you can accomplish if you just dig deep and work on yourself for 6 months! I MEAN REALLLLYYY WORK ON YOURSELF...
Six months of hard work could put you ahead six years! Don't lose sight of those "New Year's Goals." It's okay to begin again!
I challenge you to work on yourself! Happy June eve! :)
