"Fishing & not catching!"

"Fishing & not catching," caught me by surprise yesterday! 

On a whim, I decided to go fishing.

Long story short, I didn't catch a single fish, though I got a few "bites of life."

 I did however, "catch," an amazing message from my dad...

In my frustration of not having a successful catch...

He said, " that's why it is called, fishing and not catching"...

It took me a while to understand the message...

But after moments of pondering on his words; it made me think....

Anyone can "catch" something, but it takes skill, patience and determination to "fish" & retrieve something! 

I, like many other people, crave instant gratification in life. 

But just like fishing, great "snatches" take time. 

I needed to hear that message and I hope that it helps you too. 

Sometimes the small fish is worth throwing back...

The next bite could be your biggest grab yet!
