Super Bowl 2025

Controversial conversations, debates, disagreements & even disrespectful dialogue…

None of these things are “new,” in 2025! 

“America the Great,” has hosted a whopping 58 “SuperBowls,” to date. 

Half time Performances have been the, “highlight,” of these games since 1967. 

Some of the GREATEST performers of ALL-TIME have graced the stage to entertain sport’s fanatics; near & far…regardless of what team led the scoreboard. 

So many of these amazing performances took place long before I was born…

• 1967: University of Arizona and Grambling State marching bands.
• 1982: "A Salute to the 60s and Motown".
• 1992: "Winter Magic,” featuring Gloria Estefan, Brian Boitano and Dorothy Hamill.

• 1999: "Celebration of Soul, Salsa and Swing" featuring Stevie Wonder, Gloria Estefan, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and tap dancer Savion Glover.

• 2003: Shania Twain, No Doubt and Sting. 

• ..And we can’t forget the iconic performance in, 2004, featuring, Janet Jackson, Kid Rock, P. Diddy, Nelly and Justin Timberlake….. 

Here we are, some 58 years later….

The heinous comments that I have read tonight about, Kendrick Lamar, make my stomach ache…. LITERALLY!!! 

My point is, it doesn’t matter what color you are…

Like what ever it is that you like… (it’s YOUR choice)!

But, stop, HIDING behind your racism! 

Quit assuming things about someone because you don’t understand his or her culture…

And last but  not least, let’s not label people as, “thugs” etc….

Because, in my 33 years of living… some of the most well known, “thugs,” wear suits, show up ON camera & give this country, “hope” for 4 years at a time! 

A 20-30 minute halftime show shouldn’t cause so much fuss….

Just imagine how others may feel/felt about more important matters that affect/or may have affected them for decades?!!!!!
